If there is one thing that dogs adore above all else, it is a tennis ball. There are already plenty of videos and photographs online showing dogs enjoying their favorite balls. And these never fail to bring a grin to the faces of everyone.

This Boston terrier from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is one of these dogs who adore tennis balls. Manson not only enjoys tennis balls, but he really adores them. He enjoys nothing more than playing fetch with his mother, Kimberly Brown, every day. Even in extreme weather, the dog would play a few games of fetch.

Among the several balls in Manson’s home, he is most attracted to one particular tennis ball. The ten-year-old dog has developed a strong attachment to it and shows no sign of giving it up any time soon. Kimberly even tried to replace the dog’s old ball with many new ones. However, Manson was adamant about keeping his favorite toy and it was always that ball that Manson always chose to play with.

However, Manson’s regular game of fetch was interrupted by the first snowfall of the season. This normally does not affect the dog, but this time, it caused him considerable distress.

Apparently, whenever the pair played fetch, Manson would simply leave the ball in the backyard. The day before the blizzard, he did just that, leaving his ball frozen on the ground the next morning. Manson was stressed out by the scenario and unable to comprehend what was happening. Kimberly, on the other hand, found her dog’s response to the frozen toy amusing.

This is why she decided to videotape the entire scene, which centers on Manson’s unsuccessful attempts to free his stuck and frozen tennis ball. His attempts were futile, though.

Thankfully, his mother was there to assist him. After Kimberly freed the ball, the duo continued playing fetch as usual. This time, as the game ended, Manson brought his ball inside.

Hopefully, he would not repeat the same error next winter.
